海角社区 annual job fair is virtual for 2026

Virtual Job Fair
海角社区's 2026 annual job fair will be held virtually this year, connecting attendees with more than 70 organizations looking to hire.

海角社区 is hosting its annual job fair, virtually on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sponsored by First State Bank, the event is free and open to all 海角社区 students and alumni, and community members are invited to participate.

More than 70 employers from a variety of industries will be participating and actively looking to hire for internships as well as full-time and part-time positions. Metro Detroit area companies and organizations that will be in attendance include the Sterling Heights Police Department, Marriott International, Matrix Human Services, MCHS Family of Services, McLaren Health Care and Siemens. Attendees will be able to participate in one-on-one text-based chats with representatives from participating organizations. See the full list of employers .

“Participants should upload their resume to the job fair website ahead of attending, dress in business attire and be prepared to communicate effectively,” advised Bob Penkala, director, Career Services, 海角社区.

To help prepare for the job fair, 海角社区 students and alumni are invited to participate in a Job Fair Success Seminar, which will be held online and offered on April 21, 2 to 3 p.m., or April 23 noon to 1 p.m. To register for a Job Fair Success Seminar, go to , select 海角社区 Student Success Seminars under personal enrichment and choose Career to select one of the sessions. 海角社区’s annual job fair will return to 海角社区’s Sports & Expo Center on the college’s South Campus in Warren in 2027.
