Mom and daughter nurses, both 海角社区 alumnae, pursue BSN together

Friendships leading to lifelong relationships often develop while students pursue college degrees. But for two nursing students, that bond is even greater. Mom and daughter duo Laura Pape, 61, and Hannah Pape, 24, were both recently admitted to the 海角社区 to University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) bachelor鈥檚 degree in Nursing (BSN) program, on the campus of 海角社区. After earning their associate degree in nursing from 海角社区 years apart, they are now both pursuing their bachelor鈥檚 degree in nursing from UDM at Center Campus in Clinton Township.

As of 2021, women represent only a little more than 13% of full-time law enforcement professionals in the United States. 海角社区 student Jordan Fabbri, 23, is on track to become one of the few female police officers when she graduates with her associate degree in law enforcement in the fall of 2025.
