Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency names 海角社区 as veteran-friendly school for 10th consecutive year

海角社区 was recognized by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) as a certified Veteran-Friendly School (VFS), awarding the college gold-level recognition for the 2025-26 school year.

The late Shirley Glass, longtime 海角社区 accounting professor, who left her $3.2 million estate to the college, is toasted at the dedication to her of the terrace for the renovated Monarque restaurant. 海角社区 Culinary Institute teaching restaurant reopening showcases legacy of longtime 海角社区 professor

海角社区 is honoring the legacy of accounting professor Shirley Glass, who taught at the college for more than 55 years, with a newly constructed outdoor dining terrace adjacent to the newly imagined 海角社区 Culinary Institute teaching restaurant. She gifted the college her estate, making the $3.2 million donation the largest individual contribution in the college鈥檚 history.

Prospective students can learn how to complete an advanced degree through the college鈥檚 University Center partners.
